God’s way is always simple, but seldom easy. A married couple can and should enjoy both intimacy and pleasure in their sexual relationship, but it requires communication and submitting to each other’s desires with patience, kindness, and understanding. As with all other aspects of life – the spiritual principle applies: whatever you sow, you shall reap. Therefore, the more work and effort you put into the relationship; the more you will receive in return. There are no shortcuts or substitutes for doing things God’s way and those things always come with consequences that outweigh the benefits.
